End of the year that never ends…

It seems like every year there is new challenges that we have never faced before. The media would like to call it unprecedented, but I just like to call it crap. If we have to live through another year of firsts, I might scream. so looking forward to the end of this year is an understatement.

My family has moved finally and we are living on the land that I grew up on. It might just be in a 5th wheel camper and it might be a major adjustment but I am at peace in my home for the first time in many years. I can feel the love and devotion of my family. When the Lord tells you to do something, he means it for our best. This was one of the hardest things I have done in a while but I know that this kind of peace is from being in the will of the Lord.

While this year is quickly wrapping to a close, I can honestly say I am welcoming the new year. I know there will be trying times and lots of hard work but I also know the Lord is blessing every step we take this year.

The lesson I feel came with 2023 is simple. Hold on to Jesus. Just hold on to the one who knows what tomorrow holds.

Peace, love, and blessings to finish the year!

About Me

My name is Alle and I am a small town country girl who lives in an equally small town in the south. I am married to a former marine who puts up with my loony antics, we have 2 beautiful daughters we would do anything for, and we live on a modest homestead specializing in as organic as possible animals and produce.

I started a blog in hopes of reaching people with the thoughts rolling around in my head and the words that the Lord shares with my heart. Some days it may be crazy animals, and others may be a heartfelt confession. Either way, I hope my words are able to bring a smile or touch a heart that needs whatever I can offer.
